Example 1: being able to quickly act on opportunities

A real estate project manager works throughout the country. His wish was to be able to create projects on the go to gain insight into destinations that could potentially serve as a building location. That is why we developed an app in which the zoning plan, the number of square meters, cadastral data and much more can be requested via the smartphone. All the data will be combined and transfered to HB Real Estate so that his colleagues in the office can act immediately.

Example 2: convenience for inventories and inspections

An organisation rents out various industrial buildings where the number of tenants fluctuates regularly. This meant that every month someone had to do inspection rounds with pen and paper to record the meter readings of electricity, water and gas consumption and charge them to the correct tenant. We also have built an app for this.

The inspector now knows exactly where to find the meter readings according to a fixed route and it is checked whether the readings are logical compared to previous readings. In addition, the app requires taking a photo so that the readings can be checked if necessary. With one push of a button, this data is sent to Business Central 365. The administration department can immediately send out the correct invoice.

Example 3: current insight into approval processes

A common problem in organisations is the manual processing of data that are supplied by customers or suppliers. At one of our customers, this caused delays in the approval process of new projects. To solve this, we developed a solution with Power Apps and Power Automate. Every week, a specific employee receives an Excel file by email. With Power Automate, we set up a flow that automatically detects this email, grabs the Excel file, and loads the data into the correct database. An approval workflow then automatically starts in Power Apps, where relevant team members are immediately informed and can give their approval. This automated solution ensures that data is processed in real time and is immediately available for further action.
