When the management team asked Jonas to fasten the digitalisation of the company, he went looking for a suitable party to help with that. HB Software is a specialist in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, the most modern ERP system. It is the backbone of the organisation, the central environment in which the administrative processes are recorded. 

EQ Group is an expert in the field of Power Platform, which consists of a range of products that can further improve productivity and insight in an organisation. Think of Power Apps, Automate, Pages and of course Power BI.

Alfred: “We noticed that questions came in regularly that were outside our expertise, although there was often overlap. A good example was an organisation that imports and sells high-end cables. A satisfied user of Business Central, but they lacked insight into the delivery times and stocks of their products because they used different systems for that. In addition to Business Central, they also had a separate warehouse management system. In practice, this often resulted in the delivery time not matching what was agreed with the customer. 

During the introductory meeting, the CEO said that the company wanted better insight into the most important KPIs. These KPIs must also be easy to share within the organisation and be visually attractive. Of course, we had heard of Power BI and knew that it could offer an excellent solution for this customer. But BI expertise is a completely different specialism and so we at HB Software could not help directly. To prevent these kinds of frustrating issues for customers, we are now going to work together with EQ Group.”

Erik: “Business Central helps you to manage the primary business processes properly and also to connect them to each other. Crucial processes such as sales, operations, accounting and inventory management. This forms the backbone of the organisation, but you often miss specific solutions that only play a smaller role within your organization. 

Microsoft has the next step ready for us and our customers: the application of Artificial Intelligence. The system helps you interpret data, create presentations and emails, etc. Microsoft calls this Co-pilot, a new chapter in technological collaboration.
